World-renowned pandemic expert Professor Salim Abdool Karim promises to provide a riveting discussion on the leadership required in the management of communicable diseases and the future prognosis in a webinar to be hosted by Regent Business School.

Professor Karim will share insights on communicable diseases, also known as infectious diseases or transmissible diseases, that can be defined as illnesses that result from the infection, presence and growth of pathogenic biologic agents in an individual human or other animal host, being passed from human to human or animal to animal or animal to human in one way or another.
The webinar will provide a platform for Professor Karim’s views on aspects of managing pandemics, with particular reference to COVID-19.
In addition, participants will be able to refresh their views on COVID-19, especially in light of what might be termed COVID fatigue.
Prof Karim will discuss insights into leadership during a time of global human crisis.
