
Kushisa bhe! on Mzansi Wethu with the launch of the channel’s campaign Ezethu Ziyashisa which aims to highlight all the hot new and fan-favourites that channel 163 has to offer.
For the next three months, Mzansi Wethu viewers will enjoy the very best of local with new shows as well as fan-favourites – telenovelas.
From Monday to Sunday, the line-up is jam-packed with a variety of content, from reality shows to dramas and even a brand-new telenovela. Two new Wethu originals – KwaNjomane, Sibongile, and the Dlaminis – have been a hit with audiences since their premiere. Matric Revision is an exciting new addition to the 17:00 daily slot on Wethu. The show is dedicated to assist Matriculants with preparing and revising for their Matric prelims and final exams covering Maths Literacy, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Business Studies, Accounting, English, Geography, History and Economics.
The 18:00 slot is for reality from Monday to Friday featuring the Mseleku family’s Uthando Ne’sthembu S6, Mnakwethu Happily Ever After S2, KwaNjomane, Pastor Wants a Wife S2 and Friday it’s Mzansi’s favourite talent search show, Idols. The 18:30 slot on Monday – Wednesday is all about Sibongile & The Dlaminis, then it’s Love Back S6 (Thursdays) and Love & Loss S3 (Fridays). This is followed by News on Wethu everyday at 19:00.
The hottest and multiple Safta-nominated and winning telenovela’s seal off the line-up on Mondays – Fridays at 19:30 starting off with Gomora S2, The River S3, Lingashoni S1 (Mondays – Thursdays) and The Queen S5.
Moreover, Wethu also caters for local movie lovers with an offering of movies coming from local producers for the 21:30 Saturday nights slot. These include iCherrie Yam, S’phila Njani and Feluthando, Mjolo kePandemic, RSVP and many more which are on the line up for August and September.

With 1Magic, get to celebrate the best local and international programming that caters to YOU, with diverse choices of black entertainment viewing. The channel is known for bringing the most popular international reality franchise – The Real Housewives and is also the original home of the multi-award-winnning telenovela The River, which is now in its final season. Over the years, 1Magic has managed to give viewers access to some of the best international content aimed at black audiences like The Best Man: The Final Chapters, Power Book III: Raising Kanaan, The Equalizer (starring Queen Latifah), but it has also increased its local content offering by introducing some amazing local titles.
For the Reality Loving You, the Monday – Thursday 19:00 slot continues to be all about international reality shows like the recent The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip – Thailand with fan-favourite stars such as Porsha Williams, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Giselle Bryant and many more from the popular franchise.

From 1 September at 20:30, 1Magic will have something For the Yano Loving You – a brand new show – Impilo yePiano which is targeted at the young at heart, and represents cultural trends. The show will take viewers on a captivating journey into Joburg’s vibrant and explosive Amapiano music scene. The show offers an intimate portrayal of the cutthroat music industry, showcasing their struggles and what it takes to be successful.
