Youngage Foundations Npc has realized that many school girls are in serious need of sanitary pads- because of lack of support and access to pads girls end up using tissues, newspapers, socks which then leaves and puts them at a huge risk of infection. Many girls between the ages of 12-19 miss a week or few days of school caused by lack of sanitary pads.
The NPO has bren working very hard in ensuring learners are covered, protected and well educated on the use of sanitary pads. The NPO has also been working hard raising pads and working collaboratively with various organizations such as, Roxy Relators, Matla Life Investment, Vumatel and Car Wax in ensuring learners in the eastrand communities are fully supported, various schools such as Ekurhuleni Ps, Ronderbult Ps, Ntokozweni Ps, Micheal Zulu Ps, and to name a few have been donated with access to sanitary pads, other schools are still to receive from the organization.
Louisa Molise, founder of the NPO would like to appreciate individuals too, that have contributed pads and furthermore encourages others to support the cause.
Every week Youngage Foundations Npc ensures access of sanitary pads are given to school girls.
