Cape Racing is excited to announce that General Access tickets for the highly anticipated L’Ormarins King’s Plate are now available for purchase. This exciting new offering makes it easier than ever for horseracing fans and first-time attendees to join in on the action at one of Cape Town’s most prestigious and elegant sporting events.
The L’Ormarins King’s Plate returns to the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday, 4 January 2025, promising a day of world-class racing, high fashion, and exciting entertainment. Known as Cape Town’s most prestigious blue-and-white racing affair, the event brings together elite horses, top jockeys, and a vibrant social scene, alongside sparkling bubbles and delicious food offerings.
General Access Ticket – Just R150
For those looking for a taste of the thrill, Cape Racing has introduced a General Access ticket priced at R150 per person. This ticket provides entry to the Trackside Deck, where attendees can enjoy an incredible view of the main finish line, along with access to food trucks, a shared cash bar, and big screens showcasing all the live race action. General Access ticket holders will also have access to the Tote facilities in the area but will be restricted to select public spaces. Please note, this ticket does not include access to the afterparty.

For those looking for a more premium raceday experience, there are also two exclusive ticket options available:
- L’Ormarins King’s Plate Style Village – Tickets priced at R600 per person grant access to the Style Village, a chic space where racegoers can enjoy the best views, wine bars, and food concessionaires, along with a stylish atmosphere and access to the After Party. The ticket also provides access to the Franschhoek Motor Museum’s car display and parking in the in-field at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth.
- L’Ormarins King’s Plate Stud Club – The most popular hospitality marquee at L’Ormarins Kings Plate, the Stud Club, offers the ultimate race day experience with R1,800 per person tickets. Enjoy private bars, lounge seating, and complimentary ARW wines and beer, plus a light lunch and snacks. Access to the Style Village, After Party, and exclusive car displays is also included. Parking is available on the in-field.
