I had the melody in my mind for a few months, and when I heard the instrumental for the first time, played by my producer MSA, I knew it was perfect for the melody and lyrics I had. Our executive producer, Liso Simubali, then suggested a duet. We called iLoveLethu to join us, as we had always wanted to collaborate. Zayno XIII happened to visit the studio, heard the song, and hummed another melody. Within minutes, we invited her to record her verse. By the end of the night, we tested the song in a club, and the crowd loved it.”

About the Artist: Sami’Kay
Samkelo Mbala (born August 16, 2004, in Germiston, Gauteng) is a rising South African Amapiano artist from the township of Palm Ridge, Katlehong. He discovered his love for music through the school choir and pursued songwriting and recording from an early age. After debuting in the studio in 2018, Sami’Kay’s passion for Amapiano grew, inspired by local artists like Aymos and Young Stunna, and international stars such as Rema and Ayra Starr. He has collaborated with renowned artists like Cleo Ice Queen, OK Malum Cool KaT, and TBO.
Zayno XIII
Zayno XIII, born Zanokuhle Twala in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, is a 14-year-old South African singer and songwriter known for her dynamic mix of R&B, Afrobeats, Afro-pop, and Amapiano. Zayno began singing gospel songs with her grandmother at age 8, and by 11, she had written and recorded her own composition, “Chances.” Since then, Zayno has become a sought-after backing vocalist and a rising star in the South African music scene.
iLoveLethu
Lethukuthula Noxolo Mdluli, known by her stage name iLoveLethu, discovered her love for music at the age of 12. What began as a hobby quickly evolved into a deep passion, leading to her growth as a singer, songwriter, and performer. iLoveLethu has worked with some of South Africa’s most talented artists, including Mdoovar, Toss, 9umba, Robot Boii, Mashudu, Ami Faku, and Heavy K. One of her most notable achievements was co-writing for Ami Faku, solidifying her place in South Africa’s music industry.
