South African thought leader, DEI and mental health expert, and award-winning entrepreneur Khethiwe Nkuna is set to launch her debut book, Tear Her Down: Unpacking Scarcity, Insecurity & Sisterhood in the Workplace, on 31 July 2025 at Exclusive Books Melrose Arch.
This deeply personal and sharply insightful book examines the unspoken dynamics of power, competition, and relational harm between women in the workplace. Drawing from lived experience, real conversations, and over a decade of leadership in the social impact and inclusion space, Tear Her Down confronts the subtle ways women undermine one another and presents a new path forward rooted in healing, empathy, and collective empowerment.
“This book is not about blaming women. It’s about creating space for honesty, for reckoning, and for reclaiming how we show up for each other,” says Nkuna. “We talk so much about women empowerment, but too little about what happens in the shadows. About the silence, the sabotage, the fear of not being enough. This book is my offering toward a different future for sisterhood in leadership.”
