Amazon South Africa Launches ‘Made for Summer’ Storefront with up to 30% off Summer Essentials

Amazon brings summer to life with exclusive cooking demonstration featuring Coco and J’Something.
Amazon South Africa launched its ‘Made for Summer’ storefront, offering deals of up to 30% off on seasonal essentials across cooking, outdoor, and sports products. In celebration of the launch, Amazon hosted an ‘Amazon Summer Session’ event which showcased South African summer cuisine made with ingredients and appliances available on Amazon.co.za.
“South Africans are preparing for summer and they want all their summer essentials in one place, without over-spending,” said Robert Koen, Managing Director for Amazon Sub-Saharan Africa. “With our Made for Summer storefront, customers can find groceries, kitchen tools, braai equipment, outdoor and sporting gear at great prices, with fast delivery, all in one place.”
The launch event’s cooking demonstration was hosted by celebrity chef couple Coco and J’Something and featured dishes that transition seamlessly from kitchen to braai using some of South Africa’s most loved brands, including Weber, Kenwood, Bosch, Defy, Taurus, and Mellerware, all available on amazon.co.za. The event attended by over 25 top food influencers, bloggers, and lifestyle personalities who were treated to an exclusive interactive experience at the exquisitely designed Glen Villa, nestled at the foot of Table Mountain, creating memorable moments.
Customers can shop from thousands of items eligible for free standard delivery on items shipped by Amazon, with no minimum order value. For only R2, orders placed by 2pm will be eligible for same day delivery up until 8pm seven days a week in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban during the busy festive shopping period.
